Every half hour, the mood shifts as a band takes over, offering a variety of ballroom and Latin American dances. Throughout the evening, enjoy varied entertainment including live singers and dance performances. Don’t miss the mass Quadrille at midnight—a playful yet chaotic dance that is sure to be a highlight of the night. The ball extends until the early hours of 4am, but feel free to retire whenever you wish. Upon departure, ladies will receive a charming gift, a testament to a night well spent. With no fixed excursions planned, you have the freedom to discover Vienna’s rich history and culture at your own pace. Optionally, join a group dance lesson if there’s enough interest, or book other excursions through our travel agent to enrich your experience.

Tailored for Solo Dancers

Solo followers need not worry about finding a dance partner for the evening. It’s common for solo followers to share the cost of hiring a dance leader, making the experience accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Booking and Costs

The total package is priced at £1,300 per person, covering flights and accommodation, with an expected additional cost of around £200 per person for the ball ticket. A 25% deposit is required upon booking, with the balance due 90 days before the break. Please note, ball ticket prices will be confirmed by June/July 2024 and must be paid in full at that time. A single person supplement of £265 applies.

On Friday 28th June we’ll be welcoming the Ballroom & Latin American band Simply Swing to the dance studio for an evening of live music for dancing.

There’ll be a five-piece band playing a variety of strict tempo music. Whether you want to dance, or just enjoy the live music, it’s guaranteed to be a great night.

Vienna Dance Weekend

Following just a few years of restricted travel we are ecstatic to be able to reintroduce our Vienna dance weekend in 2025.

Flights from London Heathrow, transfers and three nights of 4* accommodation. We will be visiting the Johann Strauss ball for an Gala evening featuring a three course menu followed by a ball with a mixture of Ballroom, Latin and traditional Viennese Waltzes and Polkas.

Flavia Cacace Workshops

Back in February we were honoured to welcome Strictly Legend Flavia Cacace to our dance studio for an afternoon of Argentine Tango workshops.

It was a really fun and informative afternoon and you can see a highlight reel on our Instagram page (full gallery to be uploaded).

Next up is Kristina Rihanoff in May for a morning of Latin American dance workshops!

We hope to have Erin Boag revisit us in November and we should have confirmation of this next month.

Glastonbury Dance Weekend

Our ever-popular Glastonbury Dance Weekend was a great success, with some wonderful Bollywood themed outfits for the Saturday night.

Coupled with that we had put together a great Cha Cha Cha routine that started simple(ish) enough, before progressing to a tricky but fun routine.

Our Bournemouth Dance weekend in October is available to book now.

Good Friday Afternoon Tea

On Friday 29th March we held our annual Good Friday Afternoon Tea.

This gave us the perfect opportunity to try out some five-tier cake stands we’d purchased, and given the amount of food our caterer provided I’m glad we did!

It was a wonderful start to the Easter weekend and we look forward to our next catered event, our Spring dinner & dance in May.

Relaunch of YouTube lessons

Emma and Antony have relaunched their YouTube video lessons, and yes with the unavoidable outtakes at the end of each video too!

Starting initially with companion videos to our Beginner Waltz course we plan to expand into other lessons as time allows.

Provisionally we are looking at returning to the Johann Strauss Ball. We anticipate the ball taking place on Saturday 15th February 2025. The break would potentially take place from Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th February staying at a 4* or equivalent hotel.

The ball tickets include a Gala Dinner & Drinks, along with entertainment through the evening.

This is a very popular break and we are excited to be able to finally reintroduce it to our schedule.

Full details will be released as soon as available (flights can’t be booked more than 11 months before a trip). However we hope to be able to have a ballpark figure in the next few weeks. Just for now maybe pencil it in your diaries!

Budapest to Passau Departing 14th April 2022

Day 1 Thu 14th April, Budapest

Fly to Budapest and transfer to the contemporary surrounds of your Star-Ship for a traditional Hungarian dinner followed by an on board folklore performance.

Day 2 Fri 15th April, Budapest

Embark on a coach tour through the UNESCO World Heritage-listed city centre filled with architectural wonders from across the ages. Active group members may instead choose to hike to Buda Hill.

Day 3 Sat 16th April, Bratislava

The romantic cobblestone lanes are yours to explore with your local guide, including the Slovak National Theatre and a range of Gothic and Art Nouveau buildings. Alternatively, embark on a guided hike to Bratislava Castle.

Day 4 Sun 17th April, Vienna

Discover the wonders of Vienna before welcoming dancing duo, Anton and Erin on board for an exclusive talk and Q+A session. Tonight, see Anton and Erin perform an exclusive, one-off showcase at the beautiful and historic Vienna Arsenal.

Day 5 Mon 18th April, Dürnstein – Melk

Inspired from last night’s performance, you’ll have the chance to learn from Anton and Erin as they give a private and interactive ballroom masterclass. You’ll also have the chance to explore Melk.

Day 6 Tue 19th April, Linz – Ceský Krumlov

Visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed centre of Ceský Krumlov, a town built around a 13th-century castle.
