News & Events Coming Up

Tango & Samba Courses

This week sees our new One Dance Courses commencing. Tonight will be Tango and Wednesday Samba.

Courses cost £50pp and start at 7pm. Both courses can be booked online or contact us for more information.

Deadline for Glastonbury Bookings

Wednesday 31st January is the booking deadline for our Glastonbury Cha Cha Dance weekend.

Dinner, bed & breakfast; morning Cha Cha workshops, as well as a Bollywood theme on the Saturday night.

Valentine Dinner & Dance

Our Valentine Dinner & Dance takes place on Friday 9th February.

Places cost £40pp and include a welcome drink and two course menu.

Learn To Dance look forward to welcoming Strictly Legend Flavia Cacace to our studio on Sunday 25th February.

Charity Silent Social

Last year’s Silent Social for Comic Relief was such a huge hit that we couldn’t wait to have another one! We will be repeating the event on Friday 15th March.

All participants are issued with headsets that can tune into one of three channels: Ballroom, Latin American, General.

Places cost £20pp and are available to book now.

Good Friday Afternoon Tea

Following the success of last year’s Good Friday Afternoon Tea we are making this a permanent fixture.

The event will take place on Friday 29th March but we are just waiting on confirmation of final costings before we can make it available to book.

What You May Have Missed

Bournemouth Dance Weekend

Our ever-popular Bournemouth Dance Weekend was a great success, with some wonderful masks for the masquerade ball.

Unfortunately the dance floor in the suite we hire is not being well-maintained and we are currently looking for a new venue for this year’s break.

We hope to have something arranged within the next month and more details will be released when available.

Erin Boag Ballroom Workshops

Back in November we were honoured to welcome Strictly Legend Erin Boag to our dance studio for an afternoon of workshops.

We had excellent feedback from the students that attended and we’ll be expanding the range of guest instructor workshops that we offer.

Next up is Flavia Cacace in February!

The Valentine evening features a 2 course meal provided by local private chef Dan’s Kitchen. Plus a welcome drink of bubbly on arrival, and dancing to romantic-themed music.

There are three options for your Valentine Dinner & Dance main course so please make sure you select the correct option when booking. These will then be passed directly to the caterer upon number confirmation. If you have any special dietary requirements please choose that option and send us the details.

Menu options are as follows:

• Mains
  • [MEAT] Rib Eye Steak, Horseradish Croquette, Braised Red Cabbage, Jus
  • [VEGETARIAN] Crispy Polenta, Beetroot Textures, Goats Cheese BonBon, Pickled Beetroot Puree
  • [FISH] Supreme of Hake, Sun-blushed Tomato Potato Cake, Mussell and Samphire Veloute
• Dessert
  • Biscoff Cheesecake, Salted Caramel, Vanilla Ice Cream

Tickets for the Valentine Dinner & Dance cost £40 per person and you can book using the option below. To reserve a space for another person you will need to visit the Full Booking System. Our dinner & dances are sell-out events so don’t delay!

The dress code for the event is ‘smart’, and for the Valentine Dinner & Dance a hint of red is always appreciated.
